  • Robert Nathan, DVM

    Robert Nathan is co-owner of Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He has extensive experience treating dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets and other exotic animals. His passion for exotic animals, particularly reptiles, began as a child and led him to dedicating his career to veterinary medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV), the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians (AAZV), and the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV). He has served as a board member of the ARAV and edited the Roundtable for the Journal of Herpetological Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Nathan works with the Akron Zoo, and is a veterinarian for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

  • Stephen Faust, DVM

    Stephen Faust  is co-owner of  Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital. He is a 1995 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has vast experience treating dogs and cats, and a wide range of exotic species. Dr. Faust has a particular interest in orthopedic surgery. He has completed advanced training in several specialized orthopedic procedures. He is member of the AVMA and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA). Dr. Faust also works with the Akron Zoo.

  • Connie Barnes, DVM

    Connie Barnes has been an associate veterinarian at Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital for nearly 30 years. She is a 1983 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Since 1993, her primary focus has been equine medicine. Dr. Barnes has a special interest in acupuncture for both horses and for small animals. She is a member of AVMA, OVMA and the North East Ohio Equine Practitioners Association (NEOEPA).

  • Beverly Anderholm, DVM

    Beverly Anderholm  has been an associate veterinarian with Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital since 1999. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. Her lifelong interest in horses led her to veterinary medicine. Her equine career began with a renowned equine practitioner in Pennsylvania.  Dr. Anderholm has a special interest in equine dentistry and reproduction.  She is member of the AVMA, the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP)  and NEOEPA.

  • Konnie Wendt, DVM, DACT

    Konnie Wendt joined Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital as an associate in 2014. Dr. Wendt  is experienced with both small animal and equine medicine, and specializes in equine and canine reproduction. She graduated from the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and in 1995, and has a specialty in veterinary reproduction from Texas A & M University. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists and a member of the Society of Theriogeniology. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Wendt was program director for a veterinary technology program in Akron, Ohio and has taught equine reproduction courses at Lake Erie College.

  • Sean Faulkner, DVM

    Dr. Sean Faulkner joined Sharon Center Veterinary Hospital in 2014, as an associate in our small animal practice. He is a 2012 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to joining our practice, Dr. Faulkner worked for two years at a small animal hospital in Michigan. He frequently spent time observing and volunteering at SCVH throughout college and veterinary school. Dr. Faulkner is interested in surgery and exotic animal medicine, and is a member of AVMA, ARAV and AEMA.
